Hero (BTN): $21.77 - VPIP: 20, PFR: 17, 3B: 8, AF: 3,2, Hands: 53211

Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero is BTN with T :diamond: T :spade:
UTG calls $0.10, 1 fold, Hero raises to $0.50, SB calls $0.45, 1 fold, UTG calls $0.40

Flop: ($1.60) Q :spade: Q :club: 8 :diamond: (3 players)
SB checks, UTG bets $0.40, Hero calls $0.40, SB folds

Turn: ($2.40) 9 :diamond: (2 players)
UTG bets $1.14, Hero calls $1.14

River: ($4.68) 9 :spade: (2 players)
UTG bets $3.00, Hero calls $3

Villain is passive preflop, but aggresiv postflop. His Flop donk doesn`t look so strong but he continued to bet T and R stronger. I called because he was bluffy in few previous spots.

Villain has such stats that you can expect everything... :)

Have you ever considered raising? Then continue like this:

  • If he folds, then you scoop the pot;
  • If he calls, barrel any turn. If he still doesn't give up, check the river because you're beat;
  • If he raises, you fold

If you just call the hand, there is no way you'll know where you stand. And of course he continues on future streets, because he thinks you're weak. But does he have a Q or not?

By raising aren't we folding all his bluff range? Isn't letting him bluff at us better?
There is an old saying: Give enough rope to the stupid and he will hang himself at the end. :)

Call down if a higher card doesn't hit the board?

I'd call flop and turn but fold river imo; that bet is too heavy, villain is rarely 3-barrel bluffing that board on the river.

I agree that calling the river is too thin. I don't expect many players to 3-barrel this as a bluff and in 126 hands villains looks more like a passive fish than an aggro because I wouldn't look at his AF too much in this sample size.
