Booswoman (Button): $0
the brothers2 (SB): $5.14
TiagoPtM21 (BB): $6.04
IMPEH (UTG): $12.98
HERO (CO): $5

Dealt to HERO A♥ K♦ Q♦ K♣

Pre-flop:
HERO raises to $.17, (1 folds), TiagoPtM21 calls $.12

Flop: ($.36) 9♠ K♠ J♥ (4 Players)
TiagoPtM21 bets $.15, HERO calls $.15

Turn: ($.66) 6♦ (4 Players)
TiagoPtM21 bets $.66, HERO calls $.66

River: ($1.98) 7♥ (4 Players)
TiagoPtM21 bets $1.98, (1 folds), TiagoPtM21 returns $1.98

He donks halfpot, without backup in spades I don't see value in raising. I choose to wait for a paired turn or T (11 good turns) to make a valueraise or call. The turn blanks and he pots it, same on the river except T8 got there if he was pursuing a stupid bluff. Don't think I can call on the river. Is there another way to play the hand?
I've seen people donk + pot pot pot with a busted openender or weak flushdraw (three times in 1k hands now), but it's probably a made hand more often than not.

I would definately raise this flop, for value and protection. He's getting a cheap card for his draws and taking control of the hand. If he reraises you, you still have nice equity with top set/gutshot/Q blocker.

As played, I would fold river without reads.

Nice hand imo. You are in position so calling and playing a turn is more profitable than raising and isolating yourself against a strong range , is not a disaster since you have like 42% equity against the nuts anyway.

I'd also fold the river readless
