Is this hand too good to turn into a bluff? Do I have good SDV to showdown here? At the moment I thought I had decent SDV so I checked, he won with TP K-kicker.
Pretty hard to see what you could beat really. KQ beat you, all straight draws have improved and flush complete as well. I think its pretty nice combo to pot the river and put lot of better hands into tough spot.
Interesting that you choose potting here. I was thinking using a 66% bet.
Because as played I don't think I can pot river here. Many sets of mine would have raised flop, and OTT would have bet when facing a check. I don't have straights either. I have flushes but potting them here is thin I think.
I think we want to bet polar if we bet this river. We are targeting some flushes too.
I think it comes down what kind of villian we are up against. If he db pot TP w kicker into 2 ppl indicates to me he is not the strongest player.
I wouldnt mind stabbing this turn w T hi blocker if villain has any fold bottom and follow through on river.
Versus callhappy maybe fold already on flop.
He should have way more fh than us here, which I think forces us to size down. Stabbing turn with 2 pair doesn't make sense to me, I think if I'm turning 2PR into bluffs with single blocker than I'm bluffing way to much.

Depends how we play flop. How much of sets would you raise? Also we have plenty of KJ, QJ combos that definitely can pot river. Bottom of value for pot sizing would be nut flush for me. Not all of those either.
Something we should take into account here is that theory wise SB range is clearly strongest in this spot. So it also heavily depend on if we have any reads on SB. Most players call way too wide from SB. So versus recreational range we dont need to put that much weight but if its solid/tight reggy player situation should change a lot.

Ok, you probably know your playerpool better. Is this Party? Usually when someone db pot at micros it means a very strong hand or draw at least in my pool.
If he has a strong combodraw you are quite behind equity wise. This hand maybe its not the best to stabb with but if we only stabb w multiple
blockers then I think we are underbluffing at least versus this opponent.. Ghaleon prob know more about that.
BB is cc 3way pre. He ´s range could be like 70%+ if he´s callhappy:D:D
Well anyway versus BB we can likely raise wider on flop. But I would still call with weaker mid and bottom sets especially when being in position.
Also just calling top set with absolute overkill can make sense. E.g. let's say we have AKKJ with A and K of clubs.
Calling with bottom set makes sense. But calling with middle set with a player behind? I dunno, I feel like calling is pricing the player behind in to call. Aren't we missing value and protection by just calling?
