Playing against a shortstack.

I would fold preflop.. Dont like your hand in a low SPR pot.
On the flop call if it was a hu pot, fold with players behind.

Previously I am playing 30bb at my main home site, I am always getting 3:1 or better in multiways with no postflop brainwork. So I believe it is very hard to exploit the shorty.
At pokerstars min stack is 40 which is slightly more awkward, leaving fit fold decisions postflop, with f-all behind, so room for mistakes there. If I fit, no-one is really folding to me postflop.

Your strategy is similar to what Godlikeroy used to do, it is very effective and something he got slated for over 2+2 when you could re-sit at tables with your intial buy in as opposed to what you left with. I prefer to play deeper stacked as I generally only play 4 tables and think short stacking would be highly beneficial when multi-tabling to reduce decisions required.

I find it a little frustrating, as its hard to find many tables outside the big 3 sites: often times I play less than 10 hands to double up on all available tables, then 30 minute forced sitout :-(

Problem in short stacking at micros is the rake. The smaller the stack is, the less you have (if you have) edge in terms of bb/100. As you edge is pretty small, when you pay rake it is hard to get to positive.

At higher stakes the rake is a lot less. One concept behind short stacking is to enter pots with deep stacks whom will bluff each other away from the big side pot, thus generating dead money for hero to win. That doesn't work at micros, where people rarely play with really deep stacks nor make the moves in big pots.
