Sort of interesting hand from yesterday but not from my point of view. I am just wondering on what you guys think of SB preflop call to 4bet?
SB is tight reggy player. BB was high VPIP that will cold call way way too much here vs 3bet and I dont really expect to get fold from him to my 4bet. I guess this BB guy being in the pot improves SB EV. On the other hand I am 300bb deep with BB and not necessarily looking to 4bet wide at all because of that.
So solver wise with 100bb stacks SB call to 4bet is -9bb with BB. So kinda ok but I am supposed to have 45% of non AA stuff in my 4bet range. But with deep stacks vs BB and SB being on tighter side... If we take same scenario with MP open my 4bet range has non AA bit over 20% of time and SB call to 4bet with his hand would be close to breakeven. Now of course BB likely has way too wide range.
Anyway just wondering as I tend to be on carefull side in calling vs 4bets in general with Axxx stuff. Perhaps sometimes bit too tight but that is also to adjust to too AA heavy 4bet ranges.
PS: Would have folded flop if BB continued but versus SB alone with these pot odds no way of folding any AA.
