Readless spot. Preflop probably fine either way with call or 3bet. WIth A high suit I would very often 3bet.
Flop I like to raise mostly with three pair plus we do have bdfd and J.
Turn and river are theory wise likely mandatory call. I do like to overfold in general when pool show lot of strength though. But I feel like this makes pretty solid bluff catcher. We can definitely call turn, fold river with some sets and no straight blocker or some higher equity combo hands. I think this with J blocker and unblocking diamonds make ok call for river as well. Maybe you can also argue hand having three pair block showdown value but I dont think its too too relevant. Villain is basically saying he has straight and maybe just nut straight. 96 is anyway less likely combinatory wise. T8 is sort of blocking combos that would make nut straight though again this is such high board that nearby blocker effect is less relevant imo.
Also I feel like if opponent is doing turn lead with blocker type hand he will often follow through on blank river. So I think with this combo fold turn can be also better than call turn and fold river. Any thoughts?
