BU had been fairly active looking in open raising. No postflop reads.
Standard 3bet for me with connected side cards and K high suit vs BU open.
Flop is sort of where I would tend to check lot of time as my range will have hard time to counter especially straight completing turn cards. So fair amount of strong hands dont necessarily mind to look for x-r. My specific hand is kind of mediocre strength. I am not really interested of getting it in on flop but I have some decent turns having gs, bdfd and also K♦: can offer some possibility to bluff on later streets. So I went with check hoping for free card but BU does bet 3/4 pot and I went for call.
Turn is real gin card. In general we dont necessarily want to lead turns that dont change the board but I think in this spot we might want to lead some of these high cards like Q, K or A. We are somewhat more likely to hit top set or top two pair. Potentially also some wraps and such. So I think potting ourself could be good move in this spot?
