wet board bluff catch

it's best to be 1 and done here. River call is very bad. If he has a 7 in his hand he usually has a straight too, + he could be betting 2 pair out of fear you'll bet too big for him to call. The only realistic draw that bluffs here is JTxx, as most fd's flop a pair here and would reraise AI otf.

Firstly - I'm not 3betting this hand preflop because we're facing a nit and I can suspect him having something around 8% or even less from MP, therefore we are 4betted once every 3 hands which is too much for me. Generally I'd prefer a nice rundown if I was 3betting this kind of opponent, since rundowns play much better in 4bet pots than 2 pairs and we really dont have any fold equity with that 3bet.

On the flop we have a super weak pair, I'm just checking back. I think betting is a big overplay. We're getting x/raised a ton and I dont see much of a fold equity since our oponent is very often hitting the board. We don't block anything, not flush draw, not straight draw. I don't see a point in betting the flop other than throwing money into our opponent. But if we x we can represent AA if the A comes OTT, we can bet if its checked to us twice or we can hit one of our outs and continue with that.

Turn seems like a tough spot, I'd like to see someone more experienced talk about it.

Skodljivec - how about preflop play? Do you prefer 3betting this type of nit? Why would you bet flop?

preflop i agree calling might be better vs such a nit. However, because he is such a nit i don't mind cbetting the flop. Being so tight, his range should be full of BBBB and KKxx type hands that will fold this flop, allowing us to win here.

1 and done means i would be once and be done with it if i get called.

All in all, if we do 3bet preflop this is the type of board that should miss our opponent's range often enough for our cbet to be profitable.
