My thoughts for villain postflop play. On flop after my check he is trying to steal the pot. He could have any Tx, Jx, and maybe a F/SD draw in his range too. After my call and the king on the turn if he got Tx, Jx or nothing he would check behind. If he hit a king or str8 on the turn he would bet for value ofc. River is blank I expect him to check behind Tx, Jx and we excluded a king already, so expect him to to bluff here.

I would bet out here with top pair on this flop to protect the hand against draws.
As played you’re line looks fine here with your argumentation.
