Flat pre is ok coz there is no reason to play a probable coinflip against an unknown if he shoves. 4bet is worse coz he may 5 bet AI which will be a coinflip most of the time and if he calls and you don't hit Cbetting will be really costly + you are oop and you will have to fold to a shove.

I would play same as played preflop and call OTF, make a thin bet on the turn for value and on the river.

Yes I agree with never 4betting in these spots, don't want to flip now.
What do you think about folding pre to preserve stack and avoid playing a big pot OOP multiway in the first blinds?

I would never fold AKs pre, too much equity for this hand

Pre-flop seems pretty standard indeed. No need to blow up the pot with AKs yet.
On the flop I would go for it, because if you raise you will be committed anyway. So shoving would be better I think.

Folding pre would definitely be too tight. My feeling is that at the $1.50 games we could profitably get this in against an unknown, but a lot of that just comes down to what you're seeing in your games.

I agree that if we're going to c/r flop that it probably makes more sense to just check/shove.

At the turn, I would shove since the post is almost 2800 and we have just 600 left. The pot is so large that it's no disaster if we fold out a 4-out draw, and even if the river doesn't improve anyone, it could be a card that scares off our action like a 4th spade.
