hi,
im realy HU fish so i want to ask if there is other way to play this hand

my opponent played final table like big caling station.. limp/folding utg with 5BB... he is bad loosing player .. stats Vpip32/Pr14/3ag/14% 3bet filtred between 14-20BB 60hands on him..

payout is 411$ for first and 270$ for second

i dont think i can fold to his 3bet... but i dont know if it is right to shove whole stack .. if i know he has AK i would probably stop n go him .. any advice?

shove pre is +EV,

raise/call if u think he re-shoves worse.

Some how I don't like it, if he is a fish I think it is OK, but I see a bigger edge against fish in a HU.

I think I call this pre and play hit of fold, I shove AJ or ATs.

your raise size is pretty bad at this blind level. Just miniraise. If you think villain is really passive and raises pretty tight, folding is good. Calling is the worst possible option ever.

my opponent was a big fish (acording stats,ofpr,sharkscope) playing like caling station and loose 3 bettor, i already made video of this turnament.. i was minraising all the time .. and he was caling with basicly any 2.. reason why i raised 2,5bb was to gain value ...build bigger pot with strong hand.. but he had bigger one

my opponent was realy hard to read...it is like playing new player..you just dont know what he has coz he doesnt even know what he is dooing..

my default strategy against average player is to minraise and play little bit safe .. AT is maybe my button range but i cant se myself folding AJ+ in hu with 15BB

i know that new players tend to 3bet only strong hands like 99+ AQ+ but this guy had 3bet of 14% with was basicly my read...

summary:
-i dont agree with you that raising 2,5BB is "pretty bad" i know that minraising is often used but i cant see that "pretty bad" thing with +0.5BB when i want to put more value in hand against caling station/funky 3betor

- i agree that caling with AT is worst possible option ever against
passive/tight player

but this guy had stats of Vpip32/Pr14/3ag/3b 14% and playing super bad whole time...

imo just caling ang play flop is far better but im 16 tabeling so sometimes i tend to try end hand preflop..

im not defending my play.. i know there is better way to play this hand ... as unam,lessthanthreee said.. even stop n go has higgher EV .. folding and gaining edge in hu play is better ..

but with reads i had on this player i elected to not fold my AT.. even thou that this looks like im donk who post on evaluation forum and doesnt care about oppinions of other players.. this hand/your posts gave me a lot value infos for my next play

I think calling pf and stacking off any A/T-high board is best. Probably not much difference EV-wise to you folding or shoving though.

I don't think calling station is the best word here...
More of a crazy LAG/bad player.
I don't see myself folding to so big 3bet%.
Anyway some villains play HU very differently from 6max or full ring so it is good to have some info about his HU game.
