hi,

do you 3 bet this or do you just call because of the odds. It felt pretty weak to fold.

Hero (SB): 1,480 (74 bb)

MP2: 1,500 (75 bb)
MP3: 1,500 (75 bb)
CO: 1,500 (75 bb)
BTN: 1,490 (74.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A♦: T♠:
UTG+2 raises to 40, 3 folds, CO calls 40, 2 folds, BB calls 20

Flop: (130) 3♦: 3♣: Q♣: (3 players)
BB checks, UTG+2 bets 20, CO folds, BB calls 20

3betting seems loose against a UTG open and calling out of position is close as well, because you could end up dominated post-flop. If you had called you needed to give up most flops except on his min bet, but than you needed to fold the turn.

Cheers,

Agree with SDK1987, fold seems to be the best option against UTG open. Most of the time you will be dominated.
