Hi everybody,
this hand is not so much about my call with 99 here at the bubble. Ingame I was actually tanking for a while but then decided to call with a hand that actually turned out to be the bottom of my Nash calling range. However, villain had appeared very aggressive at the bubble so far, therefore I expected him to push at least the Nash range.
When he turned over his hand, I was shocked. Why would he as the 2nd in chips make such a push here? According to Nash he should only be shoving 30%, BU and BB had loose-passive tendencies, so he should actually be shoving even tighter than Nash I suppose. But ATC? This seems so way out of line to me... I had always thought that this villain was somewhat of sound mind... He had 20/18 stats over 1,5k hands... Any ideas what might have driven him into such madness? Do you think he was on monkey tilt, misclicked or do you think I should put him on a similar range in similar spots in the future?
