UTG 39/0 3bet 0 -69 hands Open Limp 50% Limp/C 63%
MP 38/16 3bet 0 - 62 hands Total limp 27%
CO 60/17 3bet 15 - 43 hands

When there are already 3 people in the pot and 500 chips in the pot I decided to shove as I didnt really want this to go 3 or 4 ways to the flop, but looking back I think I could have raised to around 500-550 and expected UTG & MP to fold and then go HU against CO and either shove or c/shove the flop depending on the board

Poker Stars, $3.11 Buy-in (40/80 blinds, 10 ante) No Limit Hold'em Tournament, 6 Players

SB: 1,154 (14.4 bb)
Hero (BB): 1,144 (14.3 bb)
UTG: 3,402 (42.5 bb)
MP: 2,564 (32.1 bb)
CO: 2,699 (33.7 bb)
BTN: 2,537 (31.7 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A♣: A♠:
UTG calls 80, MP calls 80, CO raises to 160, 2 folds, Hero raises to 1,134 and is all-in, 3 folds

Results:

Spoiler

Hero mucked A♣: A♠: and won 580 (410 net)

I think it’s a fine shove with your 14bb stack. If you make it 500 or so you have only 600 behind and that looks suspicious to me.

Exactly, it looks suspicious to a decent player thats why I didnt want to do it, but when I was thinking about the hand afterwards the CO was anything but a decent player so he may have paid a 3bet. But equally I really didnt want to go to a flop 4 ways

Against a fishy player you can also make it like 350 or so, but then you could end up multi way as well.

Multiway - that is what I really really wanted to avoid, if one of them called I could see all 3 of them calling. I still chipped up 50%, but just wondered if this was a missed opportunity to potentially get more

I think you could try to raise 400-450 here against so passive fishy players and may be collect some random value.
