I would check call the river as you could be behind to a better jack.

The flop cbet is fine, however u could also consider checking flop to pot control a bit. It is also unlikely any draws are folding on the flop either so I would consider giving a free card in this situation to possibly gain a cheaper showdown. Our hand from this point on should be considered a bluff catcher.
On the turn betting is fine but as u can see the pot is growing and we're not too eager to call off a big bet on the river. This is why firing only one bet (either on the flop or turn) will save u chips in the long run and maybe even catch a bluff or two more on the river because it'll be easier to call when the pot is smaller.
On the river I do prefer to check it back as even more draws have completed and our kicker is bad. Betting will isolate us vs. the hands that beat us and the weaker hands will simply fold.

U are correct and I am sorry for my misinterpretation! Let's give this another go:

Preflop call is fine, can hit the board hard and there's definately a lot of implied equity for us in this spot.
OTF: Checking is my prefered move, no need to build the pot with what is essentially a bluff catcher with backdoor draws, so we definately call the cbet.
OTT: We pick up an OESD however I would prefer to check again and try to keep the pot small. Also there's not much point in defending our equity since we still have a marginal holding. After BU's bet I also call as I expect to have the winning hand often and we also hit our straight from time to time.
OTR: The J makes this an interesting spot. If BU had fewer chips behind I would definately play bet/call shove. However BU can make a pretty big dent in our stack and it would suck to double him up when we get coolered. Also since our kicker isn't great I would prefer to check and call any bet that would be smaller than pot size. I would avoid c/r as we would only fold out his bluffs while the hands that have us beat would go all in and take a lot of our chips.
