Hey guys,

Earlier today played a $120 tournament, 30k start stack 100-200 blinds level 1.

I get dealt QJ spades, I raise 600 - one call MP, BB 3 bets 1800, I call, MP calls. Flop Q A (spades) 10. 1 spade - BB leads 2500, I call. MP calls. Turn 4 spades. BB slows down, I check, MP checks. River 5 spades. I river 2nd nut flush. I bet 7000 into roughly 14000 - leaving me 20K behind, MP calls! BB shoves. Can I find a fold here? I did not fold and did get shown the K10 spades. At first I thought sick cooler but the more I think about it, I wonder if I could have found a fold. Having QJ spades means the only other flush he could have would be 10 high, is he shoving straits or sets there?

Seems like a easy call on the river with the 2nd nuts. It's to bad villain had the nuts this time.

Its not great spot versus decent player to be honest. Reason is sets and KJ is unlikely to take line like that. They likely continue betting turn or if trying to x-r turn those would likely just x-c river. Also BB 3bet range pre does not necessarily have that much stuff like T9s or lower suited connected stuff that could now have weaker flush on river. Most people would not try to bluff raise river with some KK or AK with spade etc.

That said you have 20k to call for pot of 75k so you need to be good only 30% of time. So I dont think fold is totally absurd but there is high danger of doing more bad hero folds than good ones in long run in these spots. So falls into setup category.
