Hello :)
Is this alright? Or is it better to still just openraise/decide?

I would min-raise here for 23bb effective and call the SB if he shoved.
I think that is better, because now you take the variance line against the other players.
Also you have most likely a capped shoving range. I don’t think you play AA or KK the same way.

Cheers,

Most likely around 15bb effective I would shove with my entire range here.

right :)
i pretty much play 15bbs like this:
minraise/calling with monsters , minraise/folding with steal hands and openshoving with like middle of my range

I play like this vs unknowns, vs fish and also vs a lot of regs - because i don't think i have to be super balanced at the micros :f_biggrin:
People are still falling for it quite often i believe.

Is this a bad approach? :f_ugly:

On the micro’s it’s a good approach I think against bad players.
Only against good regulars it could be a problem on the long run, but I expect there are not too many of them on the $2,50 stakes.

Your approach is fine at those stakes, however 23BB is way too many BB to shove. You are only getting called by better hands, and in the best cases your are flipping. As SDK suggested, call the small blind and decide vs the other 2 possible reshoves.
