Certainly looks like Poker runs in the family I hope you enjoy your stay here, we provide pretty much everything you need to get you started and later on established as a winning poker player.

I would especially recommend actively posting in our hand analysis boards (Fixed-Limit / No-Limit / SNG) - and taking good note of our psychology / bankroll management articles (e.g. Professional Attitude).

Never forget that even the technically best poker player will remain unsuccessful without proper bankroll management and a good psychological attitude towards the game (tilt management etc.)

Quick update. I have turned the startin 50 dollars into a easy 100 in less then a hour, But recieved a horrible ass kicking at omaha last night and lost a grand

Re-read what Soy has written, he talks a lot of sense (just don't tell him I told you so as he won't let me forget it ♦), I know you are probably a higher roller than most of us here and looking to go professional etc. But even more reason to tighten up on every single leakage now before moving onwards & hopefully upwards.

Effective BRM should be the building brick from which everything else is formed. Unless your current BR is $30k+ assume that a $1k hit is going hurt somewhat. Don't try to run before you can walk.

Just a suggestion, but might also pay to consider which game to concentrate at the moment (assume the one you favour and want to go pro on), be it NL, Omaha, Stud etc. & whether ring/sng/mtt etc.
Keep a separate fund available for the other variants and your "friday night fun plays etc".

Think you would also strongly benefit from talking to a couple of the members on here that have recently gone pro or are on the verge of.

Really appreciate that post eagle. No im not a big player at all that dent really hurt me. I have learnt again today i hit a really bad session after getting up to $180 moved up and just ran cold taking my bankroll back down to under 80. Lesson learnt twice and really appreciate the post.

Having another bad session, been sucked out twice in 30 seater tourneys on final table, out of the 4 i have played made final table 3 times cashed once. 10 Dollars left

Sucked out for my last bit of money flopped a set dum f*** hit runner runner flush, Thats me done not making another deposit cant afford it, good luck in your game guys. Any1 wanna stake me let me know ill happily go 50/50 take care all

I can really only quote myself from earlier in this thread.

It seems you are still a long way from having a fitting attitude to succeed at poker. You play above bankroll management, leading you to go up quickly, and broke just as fast.

I would seriously recommend the article on professional attitude - since without one you are just going to be burning money.

Yea i have read the article cooled of a bit and re thought and written down the hands i played mistakes i made ways i could of changed my play. Also really understanding how important bankroll really is. You definatley were rite is there any way of a second chance?

Haha, I like it. Well again after some more thinking i have taken advantage of inviting friends and have sent my referal link to about 50 players ( well see how many people actually sign up) Also going to take things a lot more serious and have another real go at it when i get my feet back on the ground, I really appreciate every1's advice and the psychology and brm has really helped me out with my attitude towards the game, I was very naive before and thought just like anyone else my game was fantastic and i would easily build my br up just by playing good poker, Thats not the case. Thanks
