It has been almost 15 years since I was last active here is PS. It is great to be back!
I played poker mostly in 2007 - 2011 and since that I haven't played much. Now I got the spark back and opened an account.
First I tried it with WPT but got some technical issues so my account never went through. So I decided to go to 888poker and have been playing there. I opened the account through PS and I can see it listed here but I guess I did something wrong as I am not getting any PS points from there.
Back in the days I have played FL, MSS NL and some SNGs in micro stakes. I also loved all sort if mixed games, HORSE, Razz, Crazy Pineapple etc. I guess all of those are dead now. Fixed limit was my favourite (still is!) but there are not much those games going on anymore.
Now my first thought was to learn PLO 6 max in micros. For some reason I assumed that there would be nice games and profit once you learn it. I tried to find some beginner material for PLO but that was not easy. Most learning sites were quite expensive. I can put some money in for the learning purposes, but 2000 euro for PLO2 - PLO5 stakes.. well not going to happen! I found some great stuff here is PS but as a newbie I didn't feel comfortable enough in tables with that.
So I decided to go back to basics and try to learn NLHE 6max micro strategy found here in the forum. Great stuff! There is a lot to learn. I have now only couple thousand hands and I am not sure how I am doing ♦. But I am learning and having fun.
I have not made any plans for future. As poker is just a hobby for me and I cant't put much hours in it in a week, I just try to keep it simple and see where it goes.
