Warm greetings all,
I'm Liam, screen name LiamXii (I wish I was more original with my username but I can't change it now), I'm 28 years old. I'm originally from Essex, UK, however I moved to Cardiff, Wales as I've been stationed there with the army since 2016, and found it was a great place to live, and start fresh. They also had an awesome casino with decent cash games and a dark, seedy rock bar which I loved, so I was swayed right away. Fast forward to 2022 and I'm in progress of leaving the military in September, and suddenly have lots of free time on my hands before I start a cyber security degree in September. Therefore naturally, I thought taking poker seriously would be a good step forwards. I've VERY eager to learn and I think my MAIN weakness when it comes to poker is poor bankroll management and TILTING :f_mad:. I've read numerous books and know how to correctly play "ABC" poker although I'm now just looking to refine those skills and fully grind it out.
I've started from scratch on NL2 and I've very happy to say I've only had very brief outbursts of tilting (we are only human) but overall I'm in profit (I know it's an easy achievement to beat micros but I'm still happy I'm making progress). You can follow my progress on my blog!
I'm not sure what else to say, without boring everyone to death, so feel free to drop a message
