Playing again for the first time since 2014!!

A few weeks ago i started to play poker for the first time since 2014!! Since moving countries and with life/work got in the way i totally disconnected from poker 100%! It was only this month that i saw a random clip of the WSOP on youtube with Johhny Chan winning that it brough back some great memories of Poker. So i decided to see what is happening with the game. I was surprised when i looked up poker at the vast amount of change in the online poker scene. There are a couple of things that really stood out to me is that some of the big sites i used to play on no longer exist like FullTilt Poker, Ultimate Bet and Doyle's Room. Pokerstars and Party Poker are no longer available in the country i live in and my home country!! There are also far fewer number of players playing online poker and the rooms have very few games running. 99% of the available games are very tight and the casual players are extinct and even in the micro stakes are few and in some cases non-existent. I decided to look up some of my old favourite poker training and strategy sites and they are also non-existent like Card Runners and Deuces Cracked. I was very happy to see that Poker Strategy and 2 Plus 2 is still alive and vibrant as always. The game has changed a ton!! Just before i signed out of poker in 2014 i read a few articles about the upcoming nuisance off online bots and some university articles about the use of solvers. I see now that both have now become the norm on the scene. It is good to be back and I have a whole decade of catching up and see if i can still play this game!
