Card dead?

Hi guys

I will probably answer this myself but do you guys do anything when your card dead?

I played 3 simultaneous MTTS 2x PLO 1 x PLO hi/lo and I sat there totally dead for like 1.75 hours. I just had to fold so other players started to raise my BB each orbit. I defended with some medium hands but missed far and wide each time. When I finally got a hand and flopped a 20 card wrap once again it missed me and I lost again.

Do you guys play music, read, meditate? I just find my emotion building and building and bad play is on the horizon. In all three of theses I could not buy a pot. Despite playing solid when I made a raise it was called and we had a family pot.

Help!!

I personally just keep playing, because being card dead just happens. I always have music playing when I'm playing poker though, so perhaps that makes it a little easier.

Overall I don't think there's too much you can do but waiting patiently until you do get something playable and just hope for the best :)

pretty boring imo just make notes on players, watch showdowns and try to build reads. it keeps you focused, makes you better at spotting this stuff and is very helpful in the future. and it stops the boredom :)

Thanks to everyone that took time to reply. I think I'll break out some music and also take onboard the other ideas.
