Hi all

Over my sample of 50k hands I am winning at 10bb/100 across 2/5/10nl I worked my way up to 10nl over that sample from 20$ working up to a 20bi br and moving up at 22bi with a 2bi Shot at next stake, my laptop broke and I withdrew all my br leaving 30$ I’m at 50 right now playing 2nl again.

I want to move up to 5nl with a 10bi br as I feel I can beat 5nl but I would rather not have to deposit again. What would you advise for and against doing this as I would probably do the same for the jump from 5-10 if varience is on my side

Thanks

Well if you cant deposit I'm for sure not playing with 10BI. Even if you beating stakes 10bb/100 you can easy lose it all in one day...

According to one online article I have read about moving up stakes, a five buy-in shot take is the preferred strategy. So to play 5NL you will need $25 in addition to a 30 buy-in reserve for 2NL. That adds up to $85 bankroll.

Than you need to have the disciplineto move down on time when the shot didn't work out for you.
Otherwise it could cost your entire bankroll.

I also feel like if you are very disciplined it will work. U need to make strict rules like 10Bi up, 5-6 Bi down, and then another shot as soon as u have the 10bi again

I moved up won for a bit and am currently on a 20bi downswing 😳 I moved back to 2nl once I hit 20bi for 2nl I sit at $40 thanks to a star coin 3.50 sng that I won today back to 2nl grind until $100 fml πŸ˜΅πŸ˜‚ any advice on what my wtsd, wsd and wwsf should be at at 2nl I can’t remember off the top of my head but I’m close to 30wtsd 58wsd and like 44wwsf at 2nl I need to be tighter moving back down I think also my aggression is around 1.5 so that might explain some of the showdowns?

If you got $50 just set a bankroll challenge and start at 2nl and keep decent bankroll management of 25 bi moving up taking 5 buy in shots or something similar.

just don't withdraw. this amount of money is so insignificant, leave it in and run it up even further.
