ill take a shot at NL5 again tomorrow, see if the history repeats for the 5th time![]()
hopefully not
still plenty under EV tho
You run 2,5 buy-ins (NL5) under EV, that's not plenty, it's more very close to EV. Even if you want to express it as NL2 buy-ins, it 's still only 6 buy-ins under EV. It's normal.
Btw, if you know it's variance, then why do you worry? People at everest are crazy bad at all levels, just keep trying. Not changing your style when you move up is solid advice btw!
Hi there and welcome to a non standard answer.
if you are beating a limit and move up and find you are losing at the new limit, take a quick shot and a higher limit, in yourcase nl10.
I have found that if you are learning from lessons/video's/theory etc that applies to a higher limit than what you are playing, it might affect you negatively.
I find I play better and win more on higher limits, but I cannot beat the limits below those limits.
I think it has to do with which theory you are learning.
this is all my own opinion and experience
op plays nl50 now ♦
in any case this is a quite solid bump, was good for me to read through it again right now.
