Hello, I've been playing microstakes 6 max poker mostly Nl5 and 2 for several months now. I feel like ive read and understood almost all of the basic theory to the game, yet im still just about breaking even or losing at microstakes games. Its becoming infuriating, i cannot see what im doing wrong. Almost everything i read tells me what i already know but in practice it doesnt seem to make any difference. How can i start finding leaks and figuring out where im going wrong?

Hi I'm struggling too, a lot of downswings/upswings and tilt caused by sick suckouts... Blackrain79 claims is possible (and he done it) 14BB/100 hands at the micro which would be grinding
Hello bssjonny94 . How many hands did you played on each limit ? Do you play normal or zoom tables ?
Do you use a tracking software, can you post your stats ?

2 words: session reviews
Make 2 word documents - one with a table of hand details that you go over and observations and conclusions about each street, and the other about your leaks that start to emerge from the other file. It will help.
have you ever thought playing full ring? 6max has a lot a variance and I you dont defend your blind correctly this can cost you a lot of your win rate.other things the ratio of studying vs grinding.A lot of knowledge without practice is not really optimal like a lot of grinding without studying isn't too. Maybe you should try to focus on one thing at a time that you think can improve you winrate.Have you read about gameplan of thinking process?? maybe you just dont ask yourself the good question when you decide to play a hand.all of what I wrote is only suggestion

I have just started playing NL2 on William hill and I know what you mean.
I've just tried going back to basics again and leaving when I feel like I have lost my edge and making stupid plays.
Maybe play more than one table at a time. If you're like me then you get bored waiting for hands to come around haha
I know how u feel,.. 2 years and ~25$ up thanks to rakeback and bonuses. I made a few shots at NL10 but all failed.
I don't see one gold member in this thread. In today's cash games, if you don't have some kind of paid training site and/or a coach, you're going to have an extremely difficult time breaking even. All the regs are full time and study/play like crazy.
You need to invest in software and training to improve at poker here in 2017. That's all there is to it.
