hi, I am not new to poker but I have improved my skills since reading the strategy. But I seem to cope better on 6 max tables rather than 9 max. is there a different strategy or is it simply because my opponents have more experience? Is there any advice anyone could give?

6-max is more aggressive - less players and wider ranges. Better game in long term imo.
6max is good for the long term yes but being new to poker you would find it easier playing full ring, the wider you play the more tricky spots you would constantly find yourself and believe me you will make very bad descisions too often, so playing really tight is right and FR allows it.
