Unless you have AA or KK.

You should always avoid calling all in preflop. The more chances you give yourself to win the better. This is a theme I look at as diversifying your poker hands. Poker is not bingo there is technique and strategy required to be success of a consistent basis.

Thanks for reading my little rant. Enjoy the tables

I’m not in to the cash games, but I think it depends a lot how deep effective your playing how wide you can stack off and the villain your dealing with. Against a mid stacker for example I wouldn’t fold AK and QQ for <=40bb effective. If you play >=100bb effective your strategy looks well to me to stack off with KK+ only.

Or it's about making the most +EV decision and if that involves getting it in preflop with a hand other than KK and AA then surely that is good 'technique' or 'strategy'.

If you`re interested i would post hands in which AQs is the easiest 5bet shove for 100bb and hands in which KK is a clear fold preflop. So like everything in poker, it depends
