[Closed] BSS NL5 blind stealing

Recently I noticed that I have folded SB and BB stealings about 90% of times and I have attended to steal about 22%. I think it is really bad statistic because I have lost about 35$ with blinds (0.02/0.04). So I figured I have to steal more, but there's one answer... how?

When should I raise, which hands, where should I raise, should I re-raise opponents semi-bluff (or call) and so on.

If someone could explain me that strategy I would be very thankfull :)

Hi timukasr!

On NL5 this strategy isn't that important. If you climb up the limits, blind stealing gets more importnat (especially on shorthanded tables). We are working on a strategy article concerning this topic but I recommend that you climb up the limits first and ask our coachings about this strategy and how to start with it. If you are stealing more, you will also be in more difficult situations postflop if you get called. That means you need enough experience with the BSS to feel comfortable and make the correct decisions in these spots.

If you want to give it a try, play a session and post some of your hands in our sample hands board. This way we can discuss specific situations. Blind stealing is very complex and not easy to describe on 1 or 2 pages because of numerous factors. But if you post hands we can discuss them.

Good luck at the tables!

I'll do that :)

One more thing, I'd like to get your opinnion of my NL5 stats (6k hands):

Vol . Put $ IN The Pot - 11.46
Vol . Put $ IN From SB - 21.93
Folded SB to Steal - 89.19
Folded BB to Steal - 93.10
Att. to Steal Blinds - 18.18
Won $ WSF % - 35.74
BB/100 Hands - (-0.13) :(
Went to SD % - 22.37
Won At SD % - 47.09
PF Raise % - 6.28
PF AF - 1.05
Flop AF - 4.18 (too much conti bets?)
Turn AF - 1.74
River AF - 3.39 (this figure OK?)
Total AF - 1.71

So I'm trying to play BSS.

Looks ok to me except from your river AF. Normally the Af should be the following: Flop AF > Turn AF > River AF.

How many hands have you played so far?

Good luck at the tables!
