Sorry for delayed answer, I have been moving to new country so it did take me to set up everything at my place, now I am back and starting to evaluate the homeworks.

Yeah, for example how many tables are you wanting to play? What's the bonus amount you want to clear?

well currently going nicely at 4 tables probably wont want any more atm in time! not sure if i would be very good with bonus clearing as i don't play enough hands, i think in the last month i got around 5000 hands. Of course being at nl2 doesn't help matters for clearing bonus's quickly

Then I guess keep grinding wherever you are grinding right now. I'd recommend doing that via tracked to PS so at least you could read some nice articles + watch some great videos.

I have ended up going with William Hill, hopefully i will be able to clear part of the bonus. Currently need two more buyins and then i can move up to NL4! just got over 10,000 hands the only thing i noticed and see most people complaining about is having a negative red line. Mine doesn't drop dramatically, more of a gradual decline. Would you say it would be better to correct this at the lowest level? Rather than when i get higher up.

Here are all my stats from nl2 after 11719 hands. Sorry about the poor cutting a cropping i am a massive fish when it comes to computer stuff! Are there any stats which stand out to you? PLEASE DON'T SAY ALL OF THEM! (directed at the smart asses out there :P)

Not really, shouldn't really be a thing you should concentrate on right now. Rather concentrate on your game improvement than just working on red-line which ain't very important anyways. Just a matter of what kind of style you playing.

About your stats could you explain me why are you stealing more hands from SB than BTN?

Won't be up to much poker over the next few weeks. my hard drive on my laptop blew up on me. The shop says it will take 2-4 weeks to get it repaired.... I was not happy, so im having a break from playing but will probably go over some articles as im silver for the month. ready for a nice grind over the christmas holidays!

got my laptop back a week ago! Finally passed how much i wanted to earn to go up to nl5/nl4 depending on what site im using! So i am very happy with myself! wish i could post my whole graph however i lost my hands by getting my laptop mended, thought i had backed them up but turned out i hadn't!

so far played about 800 hands on Nl5/Nl4 initial thoughts are that the tags seem to be tighter and the spewers seem to be spewier than Nl2. One thing i have noticed is that everyone seems to respect an UTG raise massively and very rarely will i not just pick up the blinds. I know i won't be able to do this for much longer as people will start to see my stats! I will however make the most of it whilst it lasts!

All is going good with NL5 atm!

Went and played a live cash game for the first time had one hand i'd like to ask you about due to the serial limpers. 30 hands in i was in the CO with 88, 3 guys had limped in both utg's and one mid position. Atleast 2 out of the 3 would call me if i raised them. In your opinion what would be best:

Limp as well
Raise, even if we do get callers we still have position
fold and wait for pocket pairs TT+ in the same spot

We also have to look at who is behind but I'm assuming you had at least one more loose/fishy guy behind so chance are you would play a big multiway pot.

So based on that alone and our poor equity if we miss I would just limp behind as well there.

I would not fold because I think we have implied odds against the fishy guys. A lot of them can't fold TP or draws so we can get a lot out of them if we hit.

The last week or so i have discovered an unfortunate type of tilt i have. It seems to constantly halve all of my profits! It happens when i have a session where i'm about 300 hands in, I am either a a few cents up or few cents down.

I have a rule that i try and stick to which is 'if your gut instinct is to fold your probably beat'

However after a couple of sessions of it going well and me applying the rule, i go off on one. It seems to happen when throughout the session i have not had any real good hands but have played well making good folds or only betting one street and not barreling of mindlessly. All going fine until around the 300 mark, where i get hands like Queens or pick up the nut flush draw. I see these hands and think 'ahh score i can stop my run of break even for the session and get to profit town'.

I then massively over value my hand in relation to the board and how my opponent plays back at me and lose my money by calling them down... I'm not sure if i'd call it my S (hit) game or what. I guess its just a mindset problem which i've got to get over.

Do you look at your HEM/PT during the session to see if you are up or down?

Or do you keep count as you play?

You can try to keep your sessions shorter than 300 hands and then take a 10-15 minute break. See if that breaks the cycle.

I try to avoid looking at it, however even if i don't check i still have quite a good idea where i am exactly over the course of the session.

After having a break for a week from poker, i looked back at my post again and remembered my thought processes for my hands/over the course of the sessions where i have just blown up.

It seems that when i have to keep on making these expensive folds i start to lose trust in my game after a while and start calling down with marginal hands, then finding my reads were right in the first place. Losing me $$$$$$ instead of $$.

Reading through a poker magazine of mine i saw this quote and it stuck with me 'money saved is better than money lost'

here are my stats for nl5 FR after just over 10k hands. Only thing i have not corrected that i spotted quickly is opening more from SB than BU, but only marginally.
