[Closed] How much do you fold?

Hi all

Playing 2/5 NL on Fulltilt, used to play 1/2 NL two weeks ago.

Sometimes I feel like I'm getting eaten away by the big blind, is this normal?

I'm folding ~97% preflop, because the hands are simply not playable, I'm following the BSS starting hand chart quite closely.

Not much I can do about it right?

Thanks

You can move to short handed games and play looser?

Those are might high limits for you to be asking this question. Are you following bankroll management?

Yes I am following BRM.

Most of the time I win small pots, then lose it by blinds, so end up zero gain or loss after 2 hours, or sometimes a very small gain/loss.

You mean 0.02/0.05 and 0.01/0.02, right?

Yup I'm reading them.

Quite busy with university work so only read them when I have time, or while I'm playing.

Sometimes, but thats only in the opening 20 or so hands I play tightish making notes on some players etc and raise anything when I am OOP raiser and in late position to make some steals.

I'm following the BSS chart loosely. But taking on board to play aggressively and to walk away from a pot from a lot of action.

Wouldn't sweat it so much, players at this limit are rubbish. (I play NL.05 on FT as well)

ok maybe 90-95%

following the BSS starting chart quite closely, if it's not on there, then I fold.

I have some experience by now so I know myself what some hands are worth, which make them instant folds.

download http://www.pokerstove.com/ and have a look at exactly how much of a range 10-15% hands played is. You'll be pleasently surprised at how tight this range is.

if you're playing Basic BSS from the Charts I suggest that you add a few things into your game like open raising suited 1 gappers the same as you would raise suited connectors.. also stealing and open raising off suit connectors also is something you can add to your game when you feel ready. Also watch out about limp calling pocket pairs there are better ways to play them but at low stakes limp calling works.
