I play NL10 and am very commited to improving my game and this strikes me as the perfect platform.

I was playing 28/26 stats with 5% 3bet

Do you have any stats? Seems like a pretty loose sqz pre. Pre if we are going to raise i would raise more 1.40 to 1.50. I'm not sure if I like the shove. Did you have any reads at the time? I think we can raise less if we are bluffing and if we think we are ahead what is he really going to call such a big raise with? Also why not just bet out?

I'm currently on NL2 and have the goal to get to at least NL25 by New Year though NL50 might be possible if I work hard. I should be moving up to NL5 by the end of this month.

Good luck on your goal too!

As for the interesting hand:

PF: Don't like this raise, your going to find yourself dominated a lot of the time and can't expect too much fold equity against UTG raise.

F: I'd bet flop as a bluff to get overcards to fold as well as 33-44, 66-77. If faced with a raise I'd probably find a fold, you can't expect to get paid every time you make the flush (what if Kh or Ah comes, would stop your action from 99-QQ).

why would you want to oop 3bet a tight opponent who doesn't fold to 3bets and is even raising from utg

flop play cbet >>>> c/shoving
on your line... you are quite deep and i don't expect you to have a lot of fold equity against his huge flop bet and his tight range (he doesn't seem to fold a lot to 3bets, but he is tight+utg to begin with so his range is still strong), when he calls your equity is going to suck
