Question 1: What is your motivation for playing poker?

First of all I always be fascinated about "mind games" such chess, backgammon, "go", etc...
To be honest, the first motivation is the money, if I have to choose beween glory and fortune, I'll choose the of fortune for sure. :f_biggrin:

Question 2: What are your weaknesses when playing poker?

I have difficults with the "math" aspect of the game.... It's hard for me to apply at the tables the concepts like pot odds, raise calcs etc..

Question 3: What does it mean to play tight-aggressive?

To be selective about when and which cards to play and be agressive when choose to play.

By the way.........

I'm sorry about my English....lol

Welcome to the Course and Best of Luck. Good job! Homework #1 Done!

Don't worry about your English, it's perfectly understandable.

About math I would say that we concentrate on the course in couple of lectures into it. Also we have a lot of exercises prepared in the exam for you and of course we will try to give the easiest way how to get better in that.

Tight style is usually called playing selected hands. Like following the Starting Hand Chart. Aggressive should be also pretty clear that already the word says how you should be playing. But the problem playing aggressively is that you have to watch that you don't play too aggressive. Find good spots, find good targets. About The tight-aggressive strategy you can read in this article: "What is the Big Stack Strategy?"

Hopefully you will enjoy the Course.
