I wonder if you'd post this hand if villain showed pocket fives for a FH. ;)

Yeah I agree. And those minraises look fishy. Especially check/minraise on the flop, and pot size bet on the turn means "I haz nutz" in fish language. Don't do that again, raise for value everytime. Of course this time you succeeded because your opponent was an idiot, but any a little bit more clever opponent would fold some hands from which you could extract much more value.

Didn't realy look at bet sizes before... yea it was badly played, lol. :f_mad: remember this for the micros: value bet, value bet, value bet (when you have a good made hand ofcourse )!

Impressive!

And don't be results oriented too. Of course it feels very good to win, but your first goal must be to make good decisions, not to win money. Ideally winning money when making good decisions is the thing that gives you the most satisfaction in poker :)
I mean if you picked up trips with 74o and stacked off "some idiot, who didn't expect trip 4's from me when having AA himself" it doesn't mean you played good. You will have severe loss if you repeat this play 1000 times (long term results).

Not blaming you of these things of course, it's just an example :)

I won't argue. You will see my point yourself in the future when in this type of situations regulars will keep folding to your monsters and fishes will keep outdrawing you :f_love:

You think it was played well because your a fish yourself and you just got lucky you ran into a bigger fish that stacked off with A high. Taking this line with your hand any somewhat competent player will fold pretty much everything to you on the turn.
