Moving up from 5NL to 10NL

Hi everyone,

After 2 months on 5NL I'm finally crushing it (or so it seems) and I'm ready to throw some shots to 10NL (starting playing again after some years away from the tables). What should be the most important adjustments to make vs 5NL?
Btw, playing on GGpoker, don't know if that makes any difference but it feels like a softer pool than pokerstars...
I'm already putting my opponents in ranges and am getting good at it, even calling their exact hands depending on betsizing and PF action.
I'm now playing 23/19 with 8%3b and aggressive 4b when 3b which seems to be a good exploit on 5NL (with the correct cards, position and determination postflop to get them to fold when I don't hit). I don't always bluff but let's say a bit more than I used to do when I was playing 4 years ago...

Adjust my call 3b-4b range, call wider on AI situations => (are people bluffing more with AI than on 5NL)?

Any other tips?
Some good YT channels that I can watch?

Hey, don't change anything when you move up. Most people think they get outplayed when they try a new limit and they try to call loose thinking the villain is always taking advantage of you but is not true. Also your goal is not to win money from the regs, identify the bad players at your table and play against them.

Play some hands at NL10 and after that you can analyze if you need to improve anything.
23/19/8 it's ok for Nl10. Posting more stats will help people to give their take on them and maybe they can identify some leaks.

Pretty old question, but:

I play the rush $10nl tables.

What I remember going from $5nl to $10nl is that players 3bet a bit more often and fold a bit less (soon) postflop.

I think you can adjust a bit by calling 3bets more often (ip) and 4betting more often. But you already doing that you said. You seem to have noticed there is no 4bet stat at GG :f_grin:. I make use of it too.

It's not too much different from $5nl and nothing to adjust dramatically.

But as far as people 5bet bluffing I would say no, they are still not or very very rarely bluffing with 5bets.

Maybe you can cbet flop more. Take a look at what equity your cbets need and compare that with your CBet Flop Success% stat (pokertracker), and then decide ... You'll probably find they fold so much compared to required equity that you can do it more often.

Same with your 3bets, you can compare required equity with 3bet success. I think you can 3bet more often.

You cbet turn a lot more then I do, but you might be doing it better then me, I don't know ...
