BB: $6.91 (69.1 bb)
UTG: $9.19 (91.9 bb)
Hero (MP1): $10.64 (106.4 bb)
MP2: $5 (50 bb)
BTN: $11.10 (111 bb)
CO: $7.38 (73.8 bb)

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with J J
UTG calls $0.10, Hero raises to $0.45, 4 folds, UTG calls $0.35

Flop: ($1.05) 3 5 8 (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $0.78, UTG calls $0.78

Turn: ($2.61) 5 (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $1.95, UTG raises to $7.96 and is all-in, Hero calls $6.01

River: ($18.53) K (2 players, 1 is all-in)

Results:

Spoiler

$18.53 pot ($0.92 rake)
Final Board: 3 5 8 5 K
UTG showed 6 5 and won $17.61 ($8.42 net)
Hero showed J J and lost (-$9.19 net)

UTG is a fish (66/2), rather passive one but haven’t played much with him.
I had one note „not raising top two IP on safe board otr“ .. How would you play it? Thanks:)

there are some draws that could raise on this turn to make your call profitable but as you say he is not an advanced player nor did u see him bluffing.
with your note that he is not raising 2pair i rly don´t think that he is doing this with TT or worse.

e: and 5x is clearly in his range.

Or just shove otf or ott?

Flop raise could be bigger. After he clicked it back I was confused. I did not want to shove and isolate vs 2p/sets

When he bets so small I decided to call in case that he overplays something like a AT. Did I lose a value?

I raised this because they're a bunch of nitty passive regs except the bb, playing 56/0 over hardly any sample.
Villain doesn't like folding postflop and has agression of 44/55/77 over three streets, seems to like donking out and generally clicking buttons.
Turn is to hopefully induce since villain seems a bit spewy postflop.

My image if I have one is tight reg playing 18/15 but I doubt villain sees that yet.

The question isn't just is this a call, but should I have been playing this hand from there at all? I don't get married to hands usually.
Also, if I can play the hand, is it played badly? I would usually try to get the money in asap but they don't like that here, it's too agro for most; it's all call...call...call...:)

Villain is 19/11 over 1K.

It's obvious villain has AQ on the turn I've seen this play a lot from him. He would 3bet KK/AA preflop though but not JJ which he wouldn't play like this anyway, he can fold this he doesn't like a lot of trouble with TPTK type stuff.

The question is what could be a good way of taking it away from him? If I bet turn he may well call down, so big bet on river? Push riv?
I virtually gave villain the pot because I had no plan.

My CO sizing is elastic. Default is 3bb, but when the BU or blinds 3bets a lot I go for 2,5bb and this guy is quite aggro.

OTF: cbet is questionable. On the one hand I have TP + GS, on the other hand the board is so connected and I do not want to get a raise.

Preflop: Hero is BB with 2 2

I think i have a good price to call here and setmine.

Flop: ($2.25) 9 2 T (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $1.75, MP folds, SB calls $1.75

The board is wet so i decided to lead here because from my experience people are pretty passive multyway at NL25 zoom.

Turn: ($5.75) 3 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $3.90, SB raises to $9.50, Hero calls $5.60

The flush gets in so i bet a bit smaller to still get called by a T or by a 9 with the Ace of spades or JJ-QQ that did not lead on the flop. I only had 27 hands with the villain (25/17/14%3bet) that was playing one or two zoom tables. When he raises, he almost always has a flush there since i believe the bigger sets would have raised the wet flop. He gives me 23% PO so i call for my 20% chance to improve on the river.

River: ($24.75) T (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $8.20, SB calls $8.20

When the board paired and the villain checked to me i decided to bet quite small in order to make up for the implied odds i took on the turn. I'm afraid he will fold to a shove on the river.

Results:

Spoiler

$41.15 pot ($1.85 rake)
Final Board: 9 2 T 3 T
SB mucked T A and lost (-$20.20 net)
Hero showed 2 2 and won $39.30 ($19.10 net)

What do you think about the river bet sizing? How is the hand played overall?

Only 19 hands with the villain which i suspect its a reg since he was playing 4 zoom tables. KJs its in my calling range preflop and it appears the BB is not a reg so i dont expect a squeeze too often.

Flop: ($1.75) 4 T J (2 players)
Hero checks, CO checks

I go for a check raise here with backdoor straight and flush but the villain checks back.

Turn: ($1.75) 4 (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $1.25, Hero calls $1.25

I dont think he has a flush here since he would bet his FD on the flop so i see no value in betting out the turn and go for a check/call since he will bluff a lot against this line. If i bet here he will fold all of his air and some pairs bellow T.

River: ($4.25) 4 (2 players)
Hero checks, CO checks

This check i think its a mistake since i would probably get called by all pairs between 4 and T and checked back a lot of the time. Should i bet the river here? What would be a good sizing?

On the flop I don't know what line to choose. His fold to cbet on the flop is o. So it's ok to x/f? How to play against a regular player, in the same board which has on the flop fold to cbet 50? Thanks!

i have no reads on villain, but he's fishy with his stack size and he seems quite passive over a small sample.. on the flop i should have bet bigger, but other than that i think it's standard up to the river. stacks were set up fine for a PSB on the river but when he donks i think he has a flush so often and it's a pretty bad spot.. just would like to check my play here.

I wanna discuss this hand from 2 angles.

1. Do I have a value raise on the river? Is his bet a stop bet with some marginal hand that he can't x/c with? It also looks like a QT that got there.

2. If we were him, what hand can we play like this? Can we x/c turn with TP letting villain bluff his floats?

Preflop I think it's a clasic bet.
On the flop against 2 players I just check, and I think if CO will bet 1/2 bet and BU calls I think i have enough pot odds to call and I think i have some equity with 2 overcards+BDF.
On the river I check and I just call, I have overcards and FD. I think CO betting just 1/2 pot hasn't a good hand (some pp, a FD). It would ok to bet on the turn?
On the river x/f.
