A couple hands into a sng yesterday I had a minraise from EP I was (EP+2) and had 1450 chips so I raised KK up to 6bb's, then the short-stack (890) went all-in, the EP minraiser went all-in (1450), so now what do I do? I folded KK! The best move, I dunno, but in this case I would have lost. So, I got to stick around and eventually came in 4th and won sweet f a.
Good fold salamiandcheese. Only against aa are you in really bad shape. I think I would have pushed all my chips in. In general against an all in raise you should have aa or kk, fold everything else. In the sng did one of your opponents have aa?

min raise, then reshove the shortstack? i find it hard to put the guy on aces. i think i've never folded kings preflop, sometimes they show AA and i say "shoot, he had aces, obiusly" , but i still think folding kings preflop is a mistake
Well neither guy had AA. One had an Ace and the other guy had some trash. Yeah maybe not a good fold... I didn't want to get ko'd so fast! And I would have lost anyways...
A solid read on two people all-in, lots of money on the line... a fold may be right imo.
i've only ever folded kings once. it was in a multi table tournament to someone i had 5k hands on(i looked him up on holdem manager while the betting war was going), PFR of 2%, he raised UTG, MP2 re-raised 3x, im on BB, i re-raise, he shoves for about 3x the pot(he was chip leader of the tournament, i was 2nd chip leader), i fold. MP2 calls. AA vs KK. i was drawing dead to anything but a straight.

Dont know the whole situation of course but to me this sounds like such a terrible fold. For me in SNGs if i get KK preflop then i try to get money in faster than you can blink. Dollar signs appear in my eyes, voice in head says "push! push! push!"... so its *whooooosh* chips in and SHIP IT!
And if i loose, well. Like 95% of time i went in with best hand. Just wasnt destined to win that one, so forget that, open new SNG and gogogogogo again!
Why did I get stuck with the kings here!
