DarkZonk say in his video, the optimal stack size is 17bb or 18bb instead of 20bb for SSS. May someone explain about this? I believe it something related to equity. Thanks.

One of the advantages is that you can push on flops with lower pots, where it would have been an overpush if you started the hand with 20bb.
Personally I can't be bothered with checking all tables for stack sizes and adding chips when I fall below 17bb.
