When is a good time to leave a table. SSS requires that we top-up at less than 15 x BB. How many times do I do that before I leave the table.

As far as I know you buy in at SSS with 20BB's, rebuy when you go below 15 BB and leves the table when you reach 25BB.. So at the different levels you should leave the table when you reach:

NL10 = 2,5$
NL25 = 6,25$
NL50 = 12,5$
NL100 = 25$
etc, etc.. I believe this infor is to find in the "basic" strategy area on pokerstrategy :)

Good luck

Best regards,
Mugge

So I should just keep topping up untill I win?

Yes, top up to 15 big blinds, win, then leave when you have 25 or more. If you don't leave when you have 25 or more. Once you have too many big blinds you can't play SSS effectively.

Hi anoniemand!

altruist is right: It doesn't matter how many times you have to top up. The decisive thing concerning leaving a table is the 25 BB border. As soon as you have 25 BB or more you have to leave the table.

Good luck at the tables!

Im wondering since sometimes you are in blinds where u make money over 25bb
sometimes maybe even for couple of cents over - and since u just payed the bb and sb, do you still leave right away or wait till the blinds come back to you and then leave. I usually left even if i had 2.59 and i pad the bb and sb, i hope that was right :)

I usually wait for the BB to hit me after I have 25+ BB's, but I tighten up even more than the SSS.. Will practically only play AA/KK (perhabs AK and QQ from mid/late position with no raise before me + stealing the blinds if I believe it's +EV at the table)

Hi blackstone1!

If you have more than 25BB I recommend that you wait till the blinds come back to you and only play AA and KK (push them all-in preflop).

Good luck at the tables!
