nearly at my BRM goal for taking shots at plo25, mixing in one table now cuz i'm impatient ♦

Of course it's beatable when you get upswing this nice Don't make strong conclusions after such a small sample though.

For example, final couple months last year I played like this:

Whereas this year I'm going something like this

First ~30k or so are plo25; rest is plo10 through plo2.

So for those who's still wondering: microstakes PLO for sure are beatable, however variance in ZOOM could be huuuuge

I think you can beat plo zoom, but you cant beat the rake.

Of course you can beat the rake. Just need to be good enough.

Yeah obviously. Saying that you can't beat the rake is just an excuse. You think if an avarage plo200 zoom reg would play plo10 zoom he couldn't beat the game?

Well actually there might be some plo200 regs that would struggle at plo10 for some time. As most of what they do in plo200 doesn't work in plo10. (Enter smiley here, can't do it with my mobile)

Edit. What I mean is that some players might not understand that they would need to change their gameplan a lot when they come to plo10. So untill they figure that one out they might find it hard to beat the games.

I have to disagree. Imo the avarage reg would realize to simplify his game asap. He wouldn't try being balanced but would just take the most exploitative lines. But even playing the plo200 game you are just going to crush the micros. I sometimes play them when i'm not a home w/o a hud and i'm yet to have a loosing session ♦

I cant disagree more with you. If someone is competent and decent at plo 200 he/she would very fast adapt hus game to plo micros. (and what is more he or she would be very aware about modeling his gameplan).

Can you guys share more info about PLO ZOOM here?
Average rake per hand as well as rake % for different stakes?
Rake per hour if 3 tabling PLO10 ZOOM for example?
Also win rates pre RB of average regs on this limit?

Just curious if PLO25 ZOOM vs NL50 ZOOM is around same win rates/hourly for good player.

Like expected, PLO ZOOM rake is brutal. Assume there are still people beating it pre RB on NL50+ otherwise higher limits would stop to exist if they were not beatable

Rake in Zoom is same as in normal tables. But when avg opponent has much lower VPIP, it's harder to play big pots with crushing equity.

For my PLO200 reg-stuff, please read what I wrote. I wrote there are SOME PLO200 regs that might struggle in PLO10z for SOME TIME. It doesn't mean that I am saying that all PLO200 regs suck at PLO10. I know handfull of PLO100+ players that haven't been crushing micros from hand 1 when they have tried them. Of course most of the good players will know how to adapt to micros. But it can be seen even in videos, that midstakes players might have troubles with adapting to micros calling ranges.

And all of the players that I know (and it would be funny if they would be the only ones) are players that have moved to midstakes some years ago. So they have probably forgotten what it was like at micros.

To the chart that Jeniman posted, please remember that the chart is about players who have played most hands. That doesn't mean it's about the best players. Often those who grind the most hands at micros are far from the best players at the stakes.
