Idea is to play PLO HU, without the downside of the variance and rake. We play with play money for X hands.
There should be a small sidebet, just to spice up the competition. I have few rules in mind too:
- 2-4 tables at the same time.
- at least 1000 hands.
- Either player can request for new table when effective stacks are over 300bb.
- The results will be looked from EV adjusted winnings, not the actual winnings.
HUD won't work with play money, but that is just a good thing. Ongame play money hands can be imported to HEM afterwards, not sure about Stars.
1K hands with 2 tables takes about 5 hours. So it would be multiple sessions.
The goal is to learn PLO HU, and get some tricky spots to analyze afterwards. The biggest benefit will be for the players, as HU hands are't that usefull learning tools for outsiders.
