Sometimes you will notice two slow downs in the games where noone wants to play..... first is before beeing in the money.
Second appears later on. Either before the final table or even earlier if cash prices change drastically at some point.
Makes a difference if you win 50$ or 500$
hey guys i'm having lotsa trouble playing tournaments no matter nlhe or omaha plo
in the beginning, i always play tight and wait for good cards and double up against donkeys and everything goes well. but after the first break and somewhat the middle stages, i can't get any cards that I like and usually get blinded out. its so hard i don't know what to do. i'm having difficulty understanding the aggression part where dragar points out because how can i bet when i don't think i have the best hand or bluff a multiway pot

if you're keen on spending a few bucks you could try to read snyder's poker tournament formula, it gives you advices about not to play just your cards, but even your position or your chip stack, and it explains why aggression is the only factor that matters in these fast online tournaments.
if you don't want to buy it, then i could try and give you some advices (first of all: raise if first in any two cards in late position, second: always c-bet the flop), but of course reading the book is much better
