[Closed] 0.53 error

There seems to be a problem with the polish locale so i would recommend you to switch to the english version in the meanwhile

Switch what ?

I think he means that you should put your language in Elephant on english and not polish.

Elephant not support polish language.

I have the same problem, since 0.52. Firstly i don`t think Elephant supports polish language, secondly how could we even change it, if Elephant doesn`t start at all? If The problem is connected with language, then IMHO it`s the OS language. Is there a chance to fix this?

To change that by hand please locate the user.config file within the elephant dir. For me its something like: C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\sebi\Lokale Einstellungen\Anwendungsdaten\PokerStrategyElephant\PokerStrategy_Elephant.ex_Url...\0.53.

There you find lines like this

<setting name="Language" serializeAs="String">
<value>pl</value>
</setting>

Please change this to

<setting name="Language" serializeAs="String">
<value>en</value>
</setting>
Does that work?

I have this file only for versions that did work (0.49, 0.50), none for 0.52 & 0.53. In those value is set to "en". Thank you for trying, some other suggestions? ;]

Please try reinstalling the Elephant software from scratch. This file should be there.

Still nothing, only the log file. (I`ve deleted all the files from previous versions before installing 0.53) I haven`t reinstall posgreSQL, do you think it`s necessary?

Nope. Does Elephant works now? Please make sure you are in the correct dir. There are some pretty similar.

And nothing else. I`m sure.

funny thing happened to me. 052 was working oK. 053 keep freezing and then stopped to work. Then I tried out 052- does not work, 050 does not work.
WTF happened with 053- all previous versions that worked stopped to work now.

Please try the newest version out: 0.54 There the problem should be fixed.
