I downloaded elephant and installed it with the license. When I try to create a database, an error appears which says: "Connextion to database server lost!
Fatal: 28000: password authetication failed for user xxxxxxxx ".

I just can't fix it. Can someone help me with this? I play on FTP btw.

Is there a way to type in new password? The default password for postgresSQL is scvpass or dbpass i think. Try thoose two!

Not quite sure it was that you were asking for, but worth a shot!

If you are a SNG player (acording to your signature), why do you install Elephant  ?

This problem is when you have already a postsql installed on your pc meaning you have used PT3 or HM.

To make elephant work properly.

Deinstall postsql and install it from elephant.

It works for me but PT3 or HM is better than elephant - Sorry for this dear PS programming staff T___T

Ah by the way if you uninstall it and still get this prob.

Go to your local disk program file and delete the folder postsql

I would like to see it and try some BSS at NL25 to see how I do with stats. If I like it and I make more profit or more rake than in SnG's, I could give it a try.

i had the same problem but then i reinstaled everything and when i created the postgre profile i used only lower case letters for my user name

I used the password you gave me and I also used only lower case letters for the user name, but now it says like this:

"Connection to database server lost!

Further nformations:

Unable to read data from the transport connection: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host."

1 ) Unistalll postgresSQL
2 ) Go to C:\Program Files\ and delete the PostgreSQL folder
3 ) Reboot computer
4 ) Open Elephant and install PostgreSQL with you disred password

If you follow this steps it should work with no problems.

very important imho
2') control panel/system and maintenance/administrative tools/computer management/local users and groups/users/postgres service account -you need to delete old postgres acc because you can't install new one.
