I'm now using Holdem Manager, at least until Elephant evolves a bit more.
My question is if possible / how to import my hands from Elephant into Holdem Manager.

Its Technically impossible to do that
Elephant and HM uses diferent database programming and doesnt exist software available to convert databases
The only way is to import pokerroom HH backup

Thats not true with the newest version of the elephant.
You can choose "Backup DB" from the DB management under settings. Just choose a folder, and your org. HH´s are extracted to this folder.
Feel free to import these hands to whatever programm you like.
Before changing the tool, it would be cool to have a second glance on the newest version of the elephant, which runs great at the big majority of the users.
In the next two weeks we will add a ton of performance fixes, so give it a try
