With the v.50 we can have an external SQL database (show on devlog page).
does it means we can have any type of SQL server (like MySQL), or only external PostgresSQL?
How to configure it? I have'nt found where are settings for this feature.

No only external postgreSQL-Server.
To use an external DB-Server please go to the main menu and select "Database" -> "database settings". Then click on "New" and enter the normal information. After clicking on "Display advances settings" you can enter the necessary IP and Port settings.
Of course you can do the also right after the first install.
