dear Elephant creators,
Thusfar I really like what Elephant is becoming.
But there is one problem for me.
Elephant takes 5+ minutes to start and laggs my pc the bigger my databse gets. I have a few million hands in there now and its getting really annyoing.
I sincerely hope this can/will be improved soon.
ps. I've done all the perfromance boosting options.

I have the same problem with Elephant. I have done the maintainance and defrag of HDD as well. What hardware changes will improve the preformance, eg. will it run faster if I use a duel-core system? Or will more RAM improve the preformance. Currently if have a single 2 GHz processor with 1 Gb ram.
I think ram will improve performance a bit. I currently have 1,5 GB.
But if spending money is my only option I'd rather invest in hold'em manager
We hope that the next version brings some improvements with the speed of startup.
