I am looking to add a second monitor to my PC as I found out that I am more comfortable with the tiles instead then stacked or cascade.

My PC has on the back two socket for monitor but it seem that there is not present the possibility on window to have two monitor.

I run Window XP Professional (32 bit) old version (about 2002). Do I need a software for allowed two screen or what else I can do?

I haven't open the PC to check if it support two card for monitor but if it wasn't like that I shouldn't have two socket for monitor stack out, or not?
Can some1 give me any advice please?

Hi,

In windows XP, when you plug in 2nd monitor, go to settings where you set your screen resolusions, and put V on extend my screen or smth like this and just set, witch monitor should be 1st and witch 2nd.

I'm also using a 2 monitor setup with an old (service pack 2) windows XP. I have no problems; I believe that the option will come live when you plug the 2nd monitor.

If it doesn't just update the drivers of your video card.

I used the laptop with a extend monitor.
The system software was xp sp3.
I think no diffrence to your case if your PC support two monitor.
