Hello! I have installed Elephant and PostgreSQL on my computer. I can lounch elephant but when I try to start PostgreSQL there in a black window is writen system error accured and black window disapears and nothings working! Maybe somebody can help me?

was the installation of postgre SQL successfull in the first place? no error messages or so?
So you can see the entry of postgreSQL in the start menu? start => programs => postgreSQL 8.3 ?
If you start the service, then you get the error msg? What exactly does it say?
Installation was succesful, there was no error messages. I have postgreSQL on my start meny. I get error mesagge in black window when i start the service. It says - system error acured, or something like that. Its hard to see because window appears for some seconds and then it disapears
I would recommend to deinstall postgreSQl and then install a fresh version of it, and see if the problem still exists...
Solution for: "failed to establish a connection to '127.0.0.1' "
