We know about that problem and its caused by some internal problems in the dev team. We hope to have them sorted out in the near future so everything should continue at a higher speed.

So what are the internal problems? Personality conflicts? Lawsuits? Crime?
I don't mean to pry, but this is getting ridiculous.
I want to continue to use Elephant, but it still needs improvements, updates, and maintenance. If they don't happen anymore I am going to have to switch to another software.
Yeah we also do not like that problem at all... got a new pre release version you might take a look at:

On the blog it says that it is "recommend(ed) it only for FTP users in the first place!" I play on Stars. Is it still worth it to download the pre-release, or would it be better to wait until it .68 is released? If better to wait, any guess as to how long the wait will be?
As far as user reported, this prerelease seems to be quite a good version, which runs more stable and faster.
So i suggest you should upgrade to it. It is possible that the "final" release will take us 2-3 more weeks. Not yet sure about the exact time.
But an upgrade is recommended through latest user experiences with pre-v68.
