I don't think I'm medium-high level player but wasting up to 1 hour for getting $0.05 instead of $0.016 per FPP it's not the way to go...
When playing 4 tables on 2/4SH I get ~500 FPP (as gold at the moment).

Let's say you usually play 4 tables or 210 FPP tourney -> if you win every tourney you will get 446 FPP as profit: (0.05*210 - 0.016*210)/0.016 => It's profitable if you earn less than 111 FPP/table/hour (including multiplier)
now let's say you finish ITM ~40% => 178 FPP / hour

=> it's waste of time from 0.5/1 i think

+ you loose potential winnings...
btw: your profit per tourney (with 40% ITM) is $2.9 - is it worth so much time?

lol @ 4th edit

For me it is. I usually don't spend more than 2 hours at tables (on my normal limits) and i can easily spend 1 hour playing them.

It's just about maximizing my fpp's value, but yeah, like i said there are a lot of people that usually like to waste that extra hour (or more if you get too much fpp's) on tables instead of playing with FPP's, and if they winrate/hour is good that's ok.

pretty good deal imo...

so lets say mathematically you place in money 1 in 3 times.

That is winning $90 you said

So you spend $150 = 15000 FPP to win $90, if you place mathematically correct.

Doesn't sound like a bad deal, most of the times would cross the $90 mark once you make the money anyways. Plus chance of making big bucks.

Something about the free roll FPPs

about 10 fpp free rolls. 1 in 6 people make money to get 45 cents minimum. It takes atleast 1.30 hours to get to money. 1 in 6 times you make 45 cents. that is wasting 60 FPP to get 45 cents on top of that you waste hours and hours.

So 10 fpp free rolls not worth, it

so far played 7 and won 3. $33 = 1470FPP ~ 2.3c/FPP

each win took about 40mins, each loss a bit less ;-)

$33 is 5% of my roll so not insignificant. As a % rakeback, I'm not sure how much that is. I've played 150 tourneys only on stars, around 70$ rake total if I average $.50 a game (some 3$ mostly 6$)

I did have some FPP before I started, so even if I only won one in 3, it would be about %15 rakeback at bronzestar level. At silver or gold it gets to 22.5% and 30% respectively. Platinum would be ~37% I'm estimating.

As stated before, I think this is one time event.

It is happening again. I don't think most ppl here have any more than 15-20k fpps. So that is around 6 tourneys which is around 1.5 years approximately I think. I guess you could save 5k up for it.

nice chart! Now im going for the cayman for sure!

yeah its 85k if you live in canada :P But they buy it in the states, then ship it to you, so you have to pay tax/shipping and duty on it.

You are right about this but there are some good reasons too play these.

1. If you can come reasonable far in these you make fpp pretty fast
2. You can get some experience playing higher limits with little cost
3. you don't have too win 6 sng you only have too end op 2nd and can mostly retry if you end up 3rd or 4rd and even 5th on the 3rd step.
4. the chances of winning a tourney with big numbers is also very slim but people play them anyway and first price is quitte good $ 16700
5. this system attractes much fish so it is pretty easy getting too at least step 3 there you may also find some good players.
6. if you buy-in for fpp $7,5/ 500 is 1,5c per fpp which isn't that bad of a ratio

I play the WCOOP steps prefaratably too the EPT because you can get too a site event at step 4 of $ 530 buy-in and 4th get $ 210 which I think is quitte manageble and if you choose too get too go to step 6 3 places are paid the WCOOp main event of $ 5200 and 4th and 5th get $ 1200. like too now what you think of my ideas

I would also like too now the ratios of the sunday million satalites and the million takedown. Could you also look into this?

1. True. But nothing special. If you can get to step 5 you get 272,5 FPPs. If you get to final step, you get additional 500 FPPs... Not likely.
2. I guess that's good... But again, nothing special.
3. True, but either way is a long journey till last step.
4. VERY slim.
5. If you don't get to last step, you achieved nothing... What helps you if you get to Step 3? Nothing at all..
6. There is one hole in this calculation... In return, you get NOTHING :)

About rations for sunday million... Can't you calculate yourself? Money/FPP :)

It is not as hard if you think too get far in the steps if you are a good sng player. like I said I like too play the WCOOP rather then the EPT steps because you can choose too go for the less prizy side-event. With 9 players and 4 prizes and not that great of a skill play it quitte achieveable. considering this I have too loose more then 70 times my 7,5 buy-in too make it not profitable. I played like 8 of them till now and got too step 4 twice ones I got sucked out with JJ on the push and fold stage and the second time I just made and still have too play.

about some of you're other remarks
1. you only calculated the fpp if you made it the the next step each time. likely you also have a couple of retries. and 272,5 base fpp for an investement of only $7,5 with a chanche too win big is in my view more then nothing special.
5. What if you invest you're point in the million takedown, sunday million or sunday 200 grand and you don't get it the money exactly you don't get anything either. thats variance and it is the same with this.
6. smile I calculated the ratio of normal play and fpp you surtantly can get something in the long run the variance is only higher because it takes so long to get to the final step.
About the point I do find it rather helpful it is getting me to silverstar rather fast and make it easy too goldstar if I keep this up.

About the ratios of the sunday million. I could calculate them but am rather lazy :O. just kidding if you want I could post them here later. aldo I don't now what the expected roi is of these since I haven't played them yet
